Course context for academic year 2019-20

El objetivo de esta asignatura es que a la finalización del presente curso académico, el alumno adquiera los conocimientos teóricos y prácticos suficientes para tener una visión lo más ajustada a la realidad de los mecanismos de las Políticas Instrumentales y cómo influyen en la actividad y en el entorno de la economía y de la sociedad.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Capacity to find and analyse information.
  • CG6 : Obtain important information from the data that is impossible for non-professionals to recognise.
  • CG8 : Analyse problems using critical reasoning, without prejudices, precisely and rigorously.

  • CGUA3 : Capacity for oral and written communication.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE10 : Capacity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to solve theoretical and applied economic problems.
  • CE11 : Analytical skills for developing theoretical frameworks that simplify study of the real economy and the capacity to set appropriate levels of abstraction when studying different economic questions.
  • CE12 : Be able to use the appropriate tools for the analysis, diagnosis and solution of economic questions and problems.
  • CE3 : Bring a rational approach to the analysis and description of any aspect of economic reality.
  • CE4 : Evaluate the consequences of different options for action and select the best one according to the objectives set.
  • CE8 : Identify the sources of relevant economic information and their content.

- To know and understand the mechanisms and tools that shape monetary policy.

- To know and understand the different aspects that influence fiscal policy, and their implications.

- To know and understand the implications of trade policy on the functioning of economic activity and on the different economic sectors.

- To know and understand the other instrumental policies, their instruments and their implications and consequences.
