Course context for academic year 2013-14

La asignatura se encuadra en el 7º semestre de la titulación de Ingeniería Civil y es una optativa fuera del itinerario de Hidrología. Se pretende que el alumno aplique los conocimientos adquiridos en cursos precedentes, junto con los conceptos aquí expuestos para poder resolver los problemas geotécnicos reales que llevan implícitos las obras hidráulicas.

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT-10 : Capacity to confront, plan and solve real problems demanded by society in the field of engineering.
  • CT-13 : Capacity to adopt the scientific method when planning and carrying out different academic and professional tasks.

 

Specific Competences (Specific Technology):>>Hydrology

  • CEH-1 : Knowledge and ability to plan and size hydraulic works and installations, for industrial water production, energy systems, hydroelectric plants and management of surface and underground water resources.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.

Completar la formación del alumno en algunos aspectos más específicos de la Ingeniería del Terreno, no tratados o tratados más sucintamente, en los cursos precedentes, atendiendo a las implicaciones geotécnicas de las obras hidráulicas.
