Course context for academic year 2019-20

  • La Topografía y la Fotogrametría, como Técnicas que estudian los métodos e instrumentos necesarios para representar una superficie de terreno, con sus accidentes naturales y artificiales, tiene un enorme interés para proporcionar al alumno herramientas que le ayuden a entender varios aspectos de sus capacidades profesionales:

    - Analizar y entender el territorio real, más allá de la pizarra o de los Medios Virtuales del Terreno.

   - Estudiar y entender el diseño y la conexión de las infraestructuras con el suelo.

   - Saber elaborar e interpretar documentación gráfica en diferentes soportes y "visualizar" de forma más realista       los estudios previos sobre el terreno.

   - Ser capaz de dimensionar la realidad y programar actividades de obra en función de las condiciones                      topográficas del terreno.

  • La Topografía, realmente, esta presente en toda obra Civil:

   - antes del proyecto, estudiando el terreno y dimensionándolo

   - en el proyecto , calculando, procesando y ayudando a trasladarlo a la realidad

  - después del Proyecto en la obra , replanteando, comprobando, modificando, certificando, finalizando, señalizado . Es decir, la Topografía, ya sea como material auxiliar para el Titulado en Ingenierái Civil, ya sea como Profesional Titulada en el Grado de Ingeniería en Geomática y Topògrafía, está SIEMPRE presente en la Obra Civil.

Specific Competences (Civil Branch)

  • CE-1 : Understand the topographical techniques used to obtain measurements, create plans, establish layouts, take defined geometries to the terrain and control movements of structures and earth works.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-1 : Students should show they possess and understand knowledge in a field of study that continues from general secondary education and is usually found at a level which, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes certain aspects that involve knowledge arising from the cutting edge of their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
