Course context for academic year 2022-23

Aquesta assignatura pretén augmentar i perfeccionar la competència lingüística i comunicativa en català (nivell B2 del MECRL). Això implica, d'una banda, el domini de la varietat estàndard en àmbits formals i acadèmics i, d'una altra, la producció i l'anàlisi reflexiva i crítica de diversos tipus de textos i gèneres, tant orals com escrits (especialment acadèmics i filològics). Així mateix, incidirà especialment en el coneixement i aplicació de la normativa del català, tant oralment com per escrit.

És una assignatura de segon curs (3 crèdits teòrics i 3 crèdits pràctics) oferida als estudiants dels graus en Estudis Anglesos, en Estudis Francesos, en Estudis Àrabs i Islàmics, i en Humanitats.

DEGREE IN HUMANITIES

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG10 : Recognition of cultural diversity and equal opportunities.
  • CG3 : Oral and written communication skills.
  • CG5 : Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • CG9 : Problem-solving and decision-making.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand the key theories of the disciplines associated with Arab and Islamic Studies and apply them in practice to be able to operate appropriately in the different professional profiles accessible through the degree qualification or undertake further studies with a high level of autonomy.
  • CE5 : Capacity to interpret, produce and develop academic descriptions and arguments and/or technical reports related to the professional contexts that can be accessed with the degree qualification.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Be able to express oneself correctly in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia in one's discipline.
