Course context for academic year 2012-13

La introducción de la lengua persa se produce tras los estudios lingüísticos y culturales de la lengua árabe en el grado, y ofrece al estudiante desarrollar competencias orales y escritas básicas, así como la base para un aprendezaje de niveles superiores de la lengua y cultura persa.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Ability to gather and manage information that allows life-long learning.
  • CG10 : Relate Arabic Studies with Philology and other disciplines, as well as work in interdisciplinary teams in national and international contexts.
  • CG11 : Appreciate diversity, plurilingualism and multiculturalism in modern society.
  • CG12 : Respect fundamental rights and promote democratic values, equality of men and women, equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled and the values of peaceful culture.
  • CG2 : Capacity to put the knowledge acquired into practice.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand the key theories of the disciplines associated with Arab and Islamic Studies and apply them in practice to be able to operate appropriately in the different professional profiles accessible through the degree qualification or undertake further studies with a high level of autonomy.
  • CE12 : Understand a second language of those proposed in the degree course.
  • CE13 : Understand and analyse the main stages, movements, authors and works of literature in a second language of those proposed in the degree course.
  • CE6 : Understand a non-Islamic Arabic language (Persian) and its specific cultural development within Islamic civilisation as a manifestation of its creativity and as a reflection of the diverse sociocultural context of Islamic countries.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CGUA1 : Be able to communicate in a foreign language other than Arabic in one's discipline.
  • CGUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Be able to express oneself correctly in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia in one's discipline.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2012-13

-Comprender y expresarse de forma incipiente oralmente y por escrito en lengua persa.

-El estudiante será capaz de formular y responder preguntas sobre sí mismo y su entorno inmediato, de forma muy sencilla, a partir de un repertorio limitado de frases en situaciones concretas, así como ofrecer información escrita sobre datos personales y rellenar formularios sencillos.

-El estudiante será capaz de captar el sentido global y los puntos principales de mensajes breves orales y escritos, así como escribir textos breves y sencillos sobre cuestiones conocidas, y realizar intervenciones breves y comprensibles.

-Acercar al estudiante a algunos aspectos sociales y culturales de la vida cotidiana de Irán.

-Afianzar la motivación del estudiante y buscar ocasiones de ensayar con la lengua persa.

-Analisis de los fundamentos gramáticales e introducción a la lengua persa hablada.
