Competencies and objectives

Course context for academic year 2019-20

PRACTICUM of the Degree in Nursing, this subject is carried out in public and private health centers, where the student can acquire the specific skills that will accredit him as a nurse professional. The main difference of this practicum with respect to the rest done in previous courses, lies in the degree of specialization of the same, since it is about training the student in the application of care in specific situations and with a high degree of complexity that usually appears in patients admitted to the so-called special units. This subject is directly linked to the theoretical subject that receives the same name and that is necessary to know in order to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom through seminars and theoretical classes. It is a practical assignment of a mandatory nature that due to its specificity and degree of complexity requires prior theoretical and practical knowledge taught in previous courses
