Course context for academic year 2018-19
Esta asignatura se impartirá en el primer semestre del cuarto curso del Grado en Enfermería.
La ubicación de la asignatura en el último curso responde a la necesidad de que el alumno haya adquirido las competencias de los cursos anteriores para su integración en el cuidado del paciente geriátrico y en procesos de fin de vida. Así la asignatura avanza en la integración de competencias relacionas con la identificación, valoración y abordaje de los síntomas en los procesos de fin de vida, las habilidades de comunicación, las competencias psicoemocionales de la enfermería, los principios de la bioética y la práctica basada en la evidencia. Todo ello, con el objetivo de que el alumno llegue al segundo semestre de su último curso con la capacidad de abordar la complejidad de los pacientes geriátricos y terminales.
