Course context for academic year 2018-19

Se trata de una asignatura optativa, necesaria para aquellos estudiantes interesados en comprender los aspectos microbiológicos, físicos y químicos que se producen al interaccionar una planta con el suelo. Es por tanto fundamental para el alumnado interesado en desarrollar procesos biotécnológicos que contribuyan a desarrollar nuevos métodos de lucha y control biológico, fertilización, restauración y adaptación vegetal a ambientes naturales

Specific Competences:>>Theoretical

  • CE10 : Understand the fundamentals of the regulation of vital functions of organisms through internal and external factors and identify mechanisms for adapting to the environment.
  • CE2 : Relate the physical and chemical principles of Biology.
  • CE22 : Analyse and interpret the development, growth and biological cycles of living beings.
  • CE23 : Analyse the components of the physical environment: hydric, atmospheric and terrestrial and their relationship with the biotic environment.
  • CE9 : Identify organisms and interpret the diversity of species in the environment, as well as their origin, evolution and behaviour.

 

Specific Competences:>>Ability

  • CE29 : Show knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories related to the areas of Biology.
  • CE30 : Interpret, evaluate, process and synthesis Biological data and information.
  • CE31 : Recognise and implement good scientific practices for measurement and experimentation.
  • CE32 : Safe handling: biological material, reagents, instruments and devices used in Biology.
  • CE33 : Carry out standard laboratory procedures involved in analytical tasks.
  • CE34 : Plan, design and execute practical research studies, evaluating the results.
  • CE43 : Catalogue, evaluate and manage natural resources.
