Course context for academic year 2022-23

Los avances que ha experimentado la Genética en los últimos años están teniendo un gran impacto en la Medicina. Estos avances se están aplicando a nivel diagnóstico, pronóstico y predicción de respuesta a terapias en un gran número de enfermedades genéticas.
La Medicina Genómica está integrando la translación del desarrollo tecnológico y los conocimientos generados en el ámbito científico a la práctica clínica, contribuyendo a la denominada Medicina Personalizada y de Precisión.
En la actualidad, los profesionales del ámbito biosanitario necesitan una formación orientada hacia este nuevo paradigma de la Medicina Genómica, que incluyan conocimientos básicos en Genética Humana para entender la base genética de un número creciente de enfermedades, así como su implicación clínica, familiar y social.

  • CE30 : Interpret, evaluate, process and synthesis Biological data and information.
  • CE34 : Plan, design and execute practical research studies, evaluating the results.
  • CE36 : Prepare, present and defend scientific and technical reports both in writing and orally to an audience.
  • CE41 : Acquire the ability to direct, advise, design and execute biological process projects and studies.
  • CE45 : Carry out biological biotests and diagnoses.
