Course context for academic year 2019-20

Esta asignatura provee al alumno de los conocimientos experimentales y observacionales básicos que ilustran los conocimientos impartidos en asignaturas de Óptica, Electromagnetismos y Astrofísica.

La asignatura de Técnicas Experimentales III se imparte en el segundo semestre del tercer curso del Grado en Física. El alumnado ya ha realizado en el semestre anterior la asignatura de Técnicas Experimentales II y en el curso previo la asignatura de Técnicas Experimentales I y se encuentra, por tanto, capacitado tanto para la obtención de medidas experimentales como para su tratamiento analítico y gráfico.


La materia Técnicas Experimentales en el Grado en Física tiene asignados 24 créditos ECTS y está repartida en cuatro asignaturas que se imparten entre los semestres cuarto y séptimo de los cuatro cursos de los que consta el Grado. A la asignatura “Técnicas Experimentales III” le corresponden 6 de los créditos totales y tiene carácter obligatorio. Se imparte en el segundo semestre del tercer curso del Grado, cuando el alumnado ya debería haber superado todas las asignaturas de los dos primeros cursos más Mecánica Cuántica I, Óptica I, Electromagnetismo I y Técnicas Experimentales II, de tercero. También deberían encontrarse cursando Mecánica Cuántica II, Óptica II, Electromagnetismo II y Fundamentos de Astrofísica.


Las prácticas de laboratorio que se desarrollan en esta asignatura complementan los contenidos teóricos de las mencionadas asignaturas de tercer curso y son continuación de las asignaturas Técnicas Experimentales I y II.

  • CE14 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience
  • CE15 : Be able to locate and use relevant literature.
  • CE3 : Be able to estimate ranges of magnitude in order to interpret various phenomena. To carry out the approximations required in order to reduce problems to a manageable level. Develop intuition in Physics.
  • CE5 : Ability to design experiments in the laboratory, to measure and analyze critically experimental results, to draw conclusions and to evaluate the level of uncertainty.

 

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CGUA1 : Mastering the expression and understanding of a foreign language.
  • CGUA2 : Correct expression, both orally and in writing, in either of the official languages of the Valencian Community
  • CGUA3 : Possess computer skills relevant to the field of study.
  • CGUA4 : Acquire or possess basic Information and Communications Technology skills and correctly manage the information gathered.
