Course context for academic year 2018-19

La asignatura Física II en el grado de Física tiene por objeto que el alumno amplie su comprensión del electromagnetismo y la termodinámica, siempre en un contexto de una asifgnatura de Física General, y que adquiera cierta base en los principios de la Física Cuántica. Se utilizarán principalmente conocimientos matemáticos que el alumno ha aprendido en el bachillerato o en el primer semestre de la titulación a fin de desarrollar las teorías físicas. Para abordar ciertos temas, se introducirán algunos conceptos matemáticos nuevos, de una forma intuitiva, que en asignaturas posteriores se estudiarán con mayor rigor. Este método de proceder obliga a coordinarse, en cuanto a la notación, con otras asignaturas, a fin de que el alumno refuerce los conceptos aprendidos y no vea el mismo concepto como diferente cuando aparece en distintos contextos.

  • CE1 : Know and apply the fundamental concepts of Physics.
  • CE10 : Be able to use computing tools to model and solve physical problems.
  • CE11 : Solve qualitative and quantitative problems using previously developed models.
  • CE12 : Recognize and analyze new problems and devise strategies to address them.
  • CE13 : Understand the most important physical theories.
  • CE14 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience
  • CE2 : Recognize and assess physical processes in everyday life.
  • CE3 : Be able to estimate ranges of magnitude in order to interpret various phenomena. To carry out the approximations required in order to reduce problems to a manageable level. Develop intuition in Physics.
  • CE6 : Understand and apply basic concepts of Chemistry relevant to Physics.

 

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CGUA2 : Correct expression, both orally and in writing, in either of the official languages of the Valencian Community
  • CGUA3 : Possess computer skills relevant to the field of study.
