Course context for academic year 2018-19

Con esta asignatura se pretende que el alumno adquiera el concepto Química Agrícola y los conocimientos fundamentales que le permitan aplicar las leyes, conceptos, métodos y técnicas de las distintas ramas de la química al campo de la Química Agrícola. De esta forma, el alumno aprenderá a diagnosticar el potencial nutritivo del suelo, además de conocer los diferentes agentes exógenos, fertilizantes y plaguicidas, empleados en agricultura para obtener mayores y mejores rendimientos en los cultivos tanto desde un punto de vista cualitativo como cuantitativo, junto con la elección más adecuada tanto de los productos a utilizar como de los momentos y formas de aplicación.

  • CE22 : Possess a basic knowledge of cellular organisation, the evolutionary process of living beings and the organisation of ecosystems.
  • CE23 : Possess a basic knowledge of materials and geological processes and crystallography.
  • CE4 : Understand the main kinds of chemical reaction and their main associated characteristics.
  • CE5 : Apply the principles and procedures used in chemical analysis to determine, identify and characterise chemical compounds.
  • CE6 : Understand the principles of the thermodynamics and their applications in Chemistry.
  • CE7 : Understand the kinetics of chemical change and its applications, including catalysis and reaction mechanisms.
  • CE8 : Study chemical elements and their compounds, their distribution in nature, acquisition, structure, reactivity and applications.

  • CE24 : Show knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories associated with the different areas of Chemistry
  • CE25 : Solve qualitative and quantitative problems using previously developed models
  • CE26 : Recognise and analyse new problems and plan strategies to solve them
  • CE28 : Recognise and implement good scientific measurement and experimentation practices.
  • CE29 : Process and compute data associated with chemical information.
  • CE30 : Handle chemical reagents, instruments and devices safely.
  • CE31 : Carry out standard laboratory procedures for analytical and synthetic tasks related to organic and inorganic systems.
  • CE34 : Plan, design and execute practical research tasks, evaluating the results.
  • CE35 : Interpret data obtained from laboratory observation and measurement.
  • CE36 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience.
