Course context for academic year 2018-19

La asignatura de Termodinámica Química es la primera asignatura, cronológicamente, de la materia Química Física. Está encuadrada en el tercer semestre del grado de Química. En ella se pretende estudiar las propiedades macroscópicas de un sistema químico, en especial, todo lo referente a la energía del sistema y su equilibrio. El objetivo principal es dar criterios que permitan predecir la espontaneidad de los procesos químicos, así como algunas de las aplicaciones de la Termodinámica. Para poder seguir la asignatura se necesitan los conocimientos introducidos en las asignaturas de Matemáticas, Física y Química del primer curso del grado. Así mismo, los conceptos estudiados en esta asignatura se aplicarán en el resto de asignaturas de Química Física, en especial las del tercer curso. También se aplican en cualquier área de la Química donde se estudie la reactividad.

  • CE27 : Interpret, evaluate and synthesise Chemical data and information.
  • CE28 : Recognise and implement good scientific measurement and experimentation practices.
  • CE29 : Process and compute data associated with chemical information.
  • CE30 : Handle chemical reagents, instruments and devices safely.
  • CE32 : Use standard chemical instruments for identification, quantification, separation and structural determination.
  • CE33 : Monitor by observing and measuring chemical properties, events or changes, gathering the appropriate information.
