Course context for academic year 2019-20

La asignatura de Matemáticas I se encuentra situada dentro del bloque de asignaturas básicas tanto en el grado de químicas como en el de geología. Se imparte en el primer cuatrimestre del primer curso de dichos grados y se estudia con la motivación de conocer adecuadamente otras disciplinas relevantes para la Química y Geología.

DEGREE IN GEOLOGY

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Develop the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical reasoning.
  • CG3 : Solve problems effectively.
  • CG5 : Learn autonomously.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE23 : Acquire an adequate understanding of other disciplines that are important for Geology.
  • CE24 : Know how to apply the basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to understanding the Earth and geological processes.
  • CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
  • CE26 : Integrate field and laboratory data with theory, following a sequence of observation, synthesis and modelling.
