Course context for academic year 2020-21

La asignatura Trabajo Fin de Grado se ubica en el cuarto curso del plan de estudios tratándose de una asignatura obligatoria, tal y como rse recoge en los Reales Decretos 1393/2007, de 29 de octubre y 861/2010, de 2 de julio, por el que se establece la ordenación de las enseñanzas universitarias oficiales.

Las directrices que se establecen en la Universidad de Alicante para el esarrollo de esta asignatura quedan recogidas en la Normativa sobre los Trabajos de Fin de Grado/Trabajos de fin de Máster en la Universidad de Alicante aprobada en el Consejo de Gobierno del día 30 de octubre de 2012 y publicado en el BOUA el 31 de octubre de 2012, así como la normativa propia de la Facultad de Ciencias aprobada el 26 de febrero de 2018.

Mediante la realización del Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) el estudiante deberá demostrar las competencias adquiridas durante sus estudios de Óptica y Optometría, tanto las específicas de la titulación, como las competencias generales o transversales, ligadas a la búsqueda, organización de documentación, redacción clara y concisa de una memoria escrita que recoja un trabajo original y presentación en público del trabajo de manera adecuada.

  • CES100 : Inform the patient of all acts and tests that are to be carried out and explain the results and their diagnosis clearly.
  • CES89 : Apply the knowledge acquired in the previous modules in Opticians, Clinics, Hospitals and Companies in the sector.
  • CES90 : Carry out clinical activities related to refraction, visual examination, adaptation of contact lenses, visual training and low vision.
  • CES91 : Apply the technique for fitting visual corrections and compensations to glasses and the possible fine-tuning of contact lenses.
  • CES92 : Make contact with the commercialisation of products, their supply, storage, conservation and information.
  • CES93 : Understand and apply the techniques for manufacturing visual aids and optical and optometric instruments.
  • CES94 : Understand the different protocols for patient-related action.
  • CES95 : Understand the indications and procedure for carrying out and interpreting the complementary tests needed for vision consultations.
  • CES96 : Carry out the patient care protocol in the optometric clinic/surgery.
  • CES97 : Write a medical history adapted to the profile of the patient.
  • CES98 : Select and apply all the skills, abilities and competences acquired in Optometry correctly in all cases.
