Course context for academic year 2019-20

La asignatura TENDENCIAS EN GESTIÓN DE MARCAS es una materia optativa que se enmarca dentro de las líneas contempladas para el grado de Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas, el de la gestión de los intangibles.

De un tiempo a esta parte, los aspectos intangibles han ido cobrando creciente importancia en las organizaciones, siendo en la actualidad la verdadera fuente de valor en un entorno competitivo y global. La gestión de los recursos y activos intangibles, y en concreto la marca, es para el estudiante en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas, y para futuros profesionales, una de las áreas preferentes hoy.

El gestor de la marca planifica y gestiona de forma integral los procesos de comunicación y de percepción públicas tanto de la empresa como de los productos y/o servicios. En la materia nos aproximamos de forma teórica y práctica al mundo del branding.

La contribución de esta asignatura al perfil profesional del titulo y al desarrollo de competencias con las que se relaciona sería la siguiente:

- La materia proporciona una visión panorámica e integral de los aspectos intangibles, y en concreto la marca, necesarios para el éxito empresarial.

- La materia favorece el análisis y la reflexión global, y favorece el planteamiento de estrategias de marca, previo a la toma de decisiones.

- La asignatura favorece el desarrollo de la comunicación interpersonal del futuro gestor de marcas, así como actitudes favorables para las competencias directivas (capacidad de diálogo, empatía, trabajo en equipo, liderazgo, entre otras).

  • CES32 : Study and reflect on the interrelationships of commercial and non-commercial communication with the context, paying special attention to the influence that communication may have on the transformation of industrial, social and aesthetic parameters.
  • CES9 : Study the configuration of the public image of organisations.

  • CE16 : Ability to identify, evaluate, manage and protect the intangible assets of the company.
  • CE17 : Ability to adapt to organisational aims.
  • CE21 : Capacity and ability to act as experts in the strategic management of image, identity, culture and corporate social reputation of companies.
  • CE26 : Capacity to take strategic decisions.
  • CE29 : Capacity for the objective analysis of reality and the extraction of valid considerations.
  • CE32 : Capacity for creativity and innovation: capacity to evolve towards the unknown, starting with a solid understanding of the project and strategy to be followed.
  • CE36 : Capacity and ability to create, design and develop graphic elements, images, symbols and text.
  • CE37 : Ability to innovate and develop new media and vehicles.
