Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2020-21

Asociaciones científicas internacionales como IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer) y ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) formadas por profesionales de las nuevas tecnologías y de computación plantean el estudio de una serie de asignaturas de contenido matemático, tales como Lógica, Matemáticas Finitas, Álgebra Lineal, Teoría de Grafos, Estadística, etc, como materias necesarias para cualquier titulado superior en informática ya que cubren aspectos básicos del hardware y software.

La asignatura -Matemáticas I-, que forma parte del primer curso del Grado en Ingeniería Multimedia como asignatura básica, reparte su aprendizaje entre las materias de Lógica de Primer Orden Computacional y de Matemática Discreta.

La materia de lógica aporta conocimientos sobre razonamientos matemáticos para su aplicación a la resolución de problemas de ingeniería.

La materia de matemática discreta, en el área de la teoría de grafos, permite modelar situaciones reales de problemas computacionales y plantear su solución.
