Course context for academic year 2015-16
La asignatura Didáctica de la Expresión Plástica forma parte del plan de estudios, en el ámbito universitario, de la titulación de Grado en Educación Primaria. La actividad educativa de la asignatura, es una conjunción de praxis y teoría enfocada a la percepción y representación de lo visual. Tanto en la práctica como en la teoría, los alumnos/as deberán de adquirir nociones básicas del lenguaje visual y plástico, las características generales y los aspectos fundamentales de su sintaxis y semántica, y el análisis profundo del lenguaje plástico primaria, conocimientos que estarán adecuados a su planificación y futura labor docente como maestros/as de primaria.
El planteamiento de la asignatura tiene como objetivo desarrollar las capacidades expresivas y creativas de los estudiantes a través del estudio del lenguaje plástico. También pretende desarrollar aspectos didácticos, metodológicos y pautas para el análisis del trabajo del niño/a en el nivel escolar de Educación Primaria. Los futuros docentes han de ser sensibles y conscientes de la importancia de la cultura, de sus aportaciones didácticas y su proyección educativa.

Specific Competences (CE)
- CE12 : Express oneself orally and in writing with the necessary fluency and precision in Catalan and Spanish to be able to teach at primary level and also use a foreign language as a vehicle in certain classroom situations.
- CE7 : Design and develop educational projects, programming units, contexts, activities and materials, including digital material, to allow the curriculum to be adapted to the diverse nature of the students and promote the quality of the contexts in which the educational process takes place, thus guaranteeing their well-being.
