Course context for academic year 2021-22

Within the framework of the CAFD degree, this course focuses on the functions and context of teaching activities in the field of physical activity and sport. The profile of this subject allows advanced training in the field of teaching in Physical Activity and Sport -AFD, offering learning opportunities for professional teaching and research projection.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1.1 : Capacity to identify, list, analyse, synthesise and apply the conceptual content determined by the subjects studied for the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree.
  • CG1.2 : Capacity to manage information and knowledge in new and complex situations, solve problems and take decisions to develop instrumental content and procedures for the subjects in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG2.1 : Ability for oral and written communication when developing conceptual and procedural content, with special attention to mastering argument and critical reasoning in the subjects in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG2.2 : Use and integration of computing as applied to the subjects studied in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG3.2 : Awareness and recognition of diversity and multiculturalism in the fields of teaching and learning, training and the promotion of health and recreation.
  • CG4.1 : Ability for interpersonal, and effective relationships and emotional control during teamwork and the development of leadership when carrying out learning activities and tasks in the subjects on the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG4.2 : Development of responsibility and the capacity for initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and originality in the instrumental learning of the subjects on the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG5.1 : Commitment to the values of equality with regard to questions of gender, diversity and democracy when practising physical activity and sport.
  • CG5.2 : Commitment to ethical values in sporting competition.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE10 : Capacity to design, apply and evaluate high-quality processes, programmes and projects for teaching and learning physical activity among the adult population, the elderly and the disabled.
  • CE13 : Capacity to design, apply and evaluate high-quality processes, programmes and projects in the field of promoting long-lasting and autonomous habits of practising physical activity and sport, paying special attention to diversity and multiculturalism.
  • CE6 : Capacity to manage and apply knowledge of the principles of curriculum design and innovation.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2021-22

Objectives
Acquire and apply best practice skills in DFA and DFA problem solving from a social perspective of learning.
2. To apply collaborative teacher learning and autonomous learning skills throughout the teaching professional life, as well as to learn how to make decisions in teaching collaboration.
3. Act in accordance with the ethical codes of teaching and research in DFA, seeking to promote positive social action on issues of non-discrimination and democratization of knowledge and skills.

Conceptual

1.1 To know and interpret the current state of the debate and perspectives of educational DFA.
1.2 To build a conceptual and socio-cultural perspective that allows us to question the practice of DFA.
1.3 To develop informed critical thinking in the field of educational DFA.

2.1 Methodological and Procedural

To assume competencies in the processes of participation and engagement in the methodologies and procedures of collaborative work in DFA.
To share practice.
Participate in shared reflection.
2.2Acquire skills in the processes of inquiry inherent to the curricular function and articulation of theory and practice.
Competencies of interpretation and reflection of practice: To investigate the main problems in schools.
Ability to design, analyze and evaluate innovation and research proposals.
