Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2011-12

Partiendo de la premisa que el futuro Ingeniero de Edificación, asume las competencias profesionales que en su día se establecieron para los aparejadores y más tarde, por medio del Decreto 265/71, de 19 de febrero, de los arquitectos técnicos, los criterios formativos de la asignatura, en este caso, están orientados a: Inspeccionar los materiales a emplear, dosificaciones y mezclas, exigiendo las comprobaciones, análisis necesarios y documentos de idoneidad precisos para su aceptación. (Art.1.A2, Decreto 265/71) y el Control y aval de la calidad de materiales elementos y piezas de construcción (Art. 1.B9, Decreto 265/71).

En cuanto a su interrelación con otras asignaturas de la titulación, es recomendable una adecuada formación en las asignaturas de ciencas, como física y matemáticas y servirá para disponer de una formación hacia las asignaturas de construcción y control de calidad.

General Competences (CG)

  • G4 : Understand the chemical characteristics of the materials used in building, their elaboration processes, the methodology of tests to determine their characteristics, their geological origin and environmental impact, recycling and waste management.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • E4 : Understand the traditional or prefabricated materials used in building, their types and the physical and mechanical characteristics that define them.
  • E5 : Capacity to choose the correct building materials for the type and use of the building, manage and direct their receipt and quality control of the materials, their location on site, control the execution of the work units and carry out final tests and trials.

 

General Transversal Competences

  • G12 : Computer and information skills.
  • G13 : Oral and written communication skills.
