Course context for academic year 2015-16

The objective of creating multilingual and multicultural speakers can only be achieved with a student-centered teaching, that addresses the different learning styles and to seek not only the development of communicative competence of the apprentice, but their autonomy as such apprentice languages and intercultural speaker. To do this, we must be aware of their teaching professionals, able to reflect on it and continuing training, they can play the role of guides, motivators and trainers that actually require them.

  • CE1 : Conocer el valor formativo y cultural de las materias correspondientes a la especialización.
  • CE10 : Conocer estrategias y técnicas de evaluación y entender la evaluación como un instrumento de regulación y estímulo al esfuerzo.
  • CE11 : Conocer y aplicar propuestas docentes innovadoras en el ámbito de la especialización cursada.
  • CE12 : Analizar críticamente el desempeño de la docencia, de las buenas prácticas y de la orientación utilizando indicadores de calidad.
  • CE13 : Identificar los problemas relativos a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las materias de la especialización y plantear alternativas y soluciones.
  • CE2 : Conocer los contenidos que se cursan en las respectivas enseñanzas.
  • CE3 : Conocer la historia y los desarrollos recientes de las materias y sus perspectivas para poder transmitir una visión dinámica de las mismas.
  • CE4 : Conocer contextos y situaciones en que se usan o aplican los diversos contenidos curriculares.
  • CE5 : Conocer los desarrollos teórico-prácticos de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las materias correspondientes.
  • CE6 : Transformar los currículos en programas de actividades y de trabajo.
  • CE7 : Adquirir criterios de selección y elaboración de materiales educativos.
  • CE8 : Fomentar un clima que facilite el aprendizaje y ponga en valor las aportaciones de los estudiantes.
  • CE9 : Integrar la formación en comunicación audiovisual y multimedia en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Recognize and consider learning a foreign language in high school and their methodological implications.
Know and apply the main features of the methods and related approaches to teaching English.
Distinguish and use the techniques of teaching / learning in reading, speaking, listening, writing and integrated production skills.
Identify and manage the curriculum of English as a subject in the Spanish educational system.
Design and implement in the classroom annual, quarterly, weekly and daily schedules, with or without textbook.
Organize and take appropriate decisions for the design and management of English class: distribution, discipline and motivation groupings interaction group / class.
Distinguish and apply different types of evaluation in the classroom L2.
Analyze and evaluate textbooks for teaching English in high school and high school.
Select and use resources and materials in the classroom of English.
Foster a climate that facilitates learning and put in value the contributions of students.
Teach English through other subjects: design of didactic units.
Identify problems related to the teaching and learning of the subjects of specialization and propose alternatives and solutions.
Select, analyze literary texts teach English.
Know and use songs, games, role-play techniques in teaching English.
Apply classroom secondary portfolio. The European Common Framework.
Use resources and audiovisual technicians in the teaching of L2.
